Annie Sloan White Wax

Annie Sloan White Chalk Paint™ Wax will soften and lighten and create a wash look over Chalk Paint™ colours. Great for using as on wood as a liming wax. 

Annie Sloan White Wax is suitable for use on bare wood as well adding tonal lightness to painted furniture and surfaces. 

Use alongside Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax. To protect surfaces painted with Chalk Paint™ decorative paint. paint finishes on furniture, walls creative makes and more. Apply Clear Wax first to avoid the white wax'staining' the paint colour. Using clear wax first will seal the surface and stop too heavy an application. Allowing the white wax to flow over the clear and giving you control.

How To Apply Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ White Wax

We recommend applying with Annie Sloan Wax Brushes or a soft lint free cloth 

• After painting, seal indoor furniture with a thin base of Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax removing any excess with a clean cloth. Or miss this step if you want a higher coverage from the white wax

• Next, apply the White Chalk Paint™ Wax, pushing it into the paintwork to bring out brush marks and crevices.

• Wipe back any excess with Clear Chalk Paint™ Wax, making sure every part of your piece has been waxed at least once.

• Wait until the first coat of Chalk Paint™ Wax is touch dry (which will take around an hour depending on environmental factors and how thickly the first coat was applied) before applying a second coat if required.

• After care: wipe clean with a damp cloth. For tough marks, use a spray cleaner and rewax where necessary.

Chalk Paint™ Wax is not suitable for outdoor use. Use Chalk Paint™ Lacquer outdoors.
