The 2 generous cupboards with bowed doors, the flight of 5 drawers and the beautiful curves make this an unusual and timeless piece.

Designed and built around 1956, as a dining room sideboard, it would work equally well as a cocktail cabinet in a more modern setting.

Of particular interest to the connoisseur are the drawers, which graduate in 2 sizes. The top 3 smaller drawers curve softly inwards whilst the bottom 2 drawers blossom outwards to give more storage.
They all have the original handles, which are sympathetically restored and finished with warming gold tones to offset the honey brown tones of the walnut veneer. The bowed doors of the flanking cupboards bring the piece symmetry and strength.

The soft sheen finish, the black and gold highlights and the replacement legs add a modern feel to the sideboard, which in no way detracts from its vintage appeal.

This beautiful piece is a real eye-catcher and one that will bring your home a lovely touch of class.
